Ireland Connection

Seems Melbourne are keeping up the Ireland connection.

With Devine gone, it seems that we are going to add 18 year old Nick Walsh to our list. He has played a year or so of AFL at colllege over here and we rate him highly.

If you want to check it out, go to realfooty and scroll down the main page to find it.

They reckon he could even play in the pre-season next year!

CFH.

yeah, i saw that last week... or maybe it was yesterday. oh i dunno!
but any ways, he had only been playing a while and thewy made him captain, so he must pretty good! i don't have a problem with them taking on another one. look how jimmy turned out! :)

GO DEES!!!

yeh i knwe that ages ago he went to St Kevins right? i know a teacher there he said melbourne were tryna keep it quiet

Nick Walshe played football for St Kevins College First 18 and played against players such as Luke Ball and Chris Judd.

He did very well against them and has been on Melbournes International list all year.

He will be a good player. He played on some high profile draftees in Ball and Judd and held his own with them.

They call him fighting irish as he is very fiery and very physical at the ball.

I went to school (SKC) with both Luke Williams and Steven Powell and rank him ahead of Luke.

Melbourne payed for his living expenses and schooling but I do not know how they kept him so quiet as he was on your International list.

Hope that has helped.
