Cant find a link on the net, but an interesting article about Irene Chatfield and the 89 Fightback on page 100 of today's Herald Sun.
Apparently she is in hospital after a bout of ill-health. All the very best Irene, a true Bulldogs supporter.
For those who cant recall, back in 89 when we were to be merged with Fitzroy, she lodged a Supreme Court injunction to prevent the merger going ahead. She was successful, we won the right to try and save the club, the rest is history.
15 years since one of the greatest victories in the history of the club.
