any info on how the lads went tonite??????? any highlights would be great, also great read ssk, very intresting!

I watched Mooney closely. He started out really well incuding kicking an early goal from a handball? recieve before breaking into space, steadying on goal and slotting what was eventually an easy shot. Did some nice things early but faded out of it (as did the rest of the team). Gets to a lot of contests and tackles but has poor tackling technique so they don't stick but thats to be expected. Very encouraging game I thought.

Clarke was all class. Had a really poor game last week but looked back to his best tbh. He initiated the best play for Collingwood for the night by splitting a pass from defence straight up the corridor with no room for error. He split three Adelaide players to hit up the only Collignwood player in the contest. This cracked the zone open and allowed a chain of possession that resulted in a goal. Also took a really strong overhead mark in the middle of the ground which was ridiculously not paid and ended up resulting in an Adelaide goal but could have been the other way around. Overall he worked well into the game, found a bit of the ball and was precise with his kicking. It was a great performance I thought. Didn't pay much attention to him defensively admittedly.

Hope that'll do until someone gets some highlights up for you!

thanks for the speedy comeback, good see an overall improvement from both the lads tonight, encouraging signs for the coming weeks ahead. watching on with a keen intrest

I thought Mooney played well. He was subbed out at half time and then came back on late in the game. Certainly showed that he has what it takes to make it, he just needs to keep training and practicing his skills, learn the game and then hopefully he makes the transition.

Clarke looked very comfortable out there, looked like he belonged in the team. Didn't do a hell of a lot but what he did was solid. Read the ball well, ran all night, kicked the ball well, had clean hands, I think he and the team will be happy with how he went.

A few times a year I touch base with Joseph the club secretary of An Riocht, one of the other club members sent me this email, I am flying over for the game at "Price Fixers Park' and I have now packed my camera, I may be lucky enough to get a shot for them, on the other part if any of the other board members happen to get any thing kindly PM them to me so I can send them on.

"Terry, this is Andrew Magorrian, An Riocht GFC ( Martin Clarkes Team ) P.R.O, I am just writing to ask if you have any action shots of Martin, of if you get any in the future would you send me them for the club Official facebook?"

looks like your irish experiment is set to continue.

apparently word here is that its Collingwood that have picked them up for trials. But often those who go over could go to a few clubs for a trial. McKeever of Brisbane was at a few clubs around Melbourne before Brisbane picked him up.

Thanks for the Update and Will keep an Ear for more news on these 2

Interesting. Haven't seen Bradley play but have heard good things about him and his camp performance is impressive.

Hurley played on the same team as Paul Cribbin and I wouldn't rate him as a particularly great prospect. Not big enough to play KP and not fast or agile enough to play anywhere else. Its been over a year since I've seen him play so maybe he's improved or put in an excellent camp performance.
