Random question but I need some advice. Does anyone have advice for ironing on these jumper numbers? They just dont seem to be sticking? Extra hot iron? Ive got the cardboard between the jumper and baking paper but not having much luck.

Needs heat AND pressure normally to adhere. I don't know why you've got cardboard as normally you'd want the baking paper/teflon sheet on top of the numbers to protect the finish but still allow the heat to get through to the adhesive layer. Adding another layer between will probably sink some of the heat away.

Pressure would obviously be better and more consistent with a heat press but failing that maybe try go in a more "batch" way, working your way from the top or bottom down in smaller increments while re-stretching/tautening the number?

Also, make sure you're not using steam as you need the "dry" heat only.
