Correct me if I am wrong but didn't Port Adelaide trade heart problem victim Nathan Eagleton to Western Bulldogs for Brett Montgomery?

Somewhat ironic that they got someone else with a heart problem?!

More seriously, I do wish that Brett Montgomery does recover from whatever problem he does have - football needs him taking those incredible hanges!

Its becoming a more and more common problem.

Roo Kennedy was the first time i heard of a player having this condition. Then Eaglton,Shane Tuck and now Montgomery.

Another modern day medical phenomena perhaps?

Good luck to Monty though, wishing him a speedy recovery.

Hope Montgomery gets a full recovery in time for next season. There was a player from Sydney who had similar heart problems, name's slipped me and he I'm fairly sure he's still playing today.

The reports here in Adelaide are saying Brett will be back in full training with the rest of the squad on Jan. 3rd.

They have said the condition is similar, but not identical to Eagleton's condition.

They have also said the condition did not require surgery to fix, so I am buggered if I can figure out how the hell the condition was fixed????
