Is that real thing? Will look in to it. I must have done something right yesterday. Lifted lighter, but very slow and have DOMS for the first time in months.

Got DOMS today, I didnt push myself either, but I did lighten the load but increased the rips.

Unfortunately sustained a back strain on the left side, think was my lats doing pull ups. Glory be, hope its just a mild garden variety strain. See this is what shits me when you dont have a lat pulldown to warm up you have to start with pull ups.

Anyways, I was able to a barbell row, and while I felt it, it didnt really impede me, so Im hoping its just a very mild strain. Able to do dumbbell rows as well. I didnt go heavy but again Im thinking the injury is more of an inconvenience than debilitating.

Anyone else done an injury to their lats before during pull ups?

I have access to good drugs for pain so not feeling anything now lol. :drunk:

Barbell bench press is the biggest home gym killer.

Close 2nd is elevated donkey calf raises.

Slept only a few hours last night so was already very tired, despite that I was keen to hit legs today, spent the day tidying up and watching videos how to properly do leg exercises using dumbbells only.

By the time I got my s**t together to start Im too exhausted now.

FFS if the gym was open and everything was normal, would have easily got legs done today.

Oh well there is Sunday to get it done for the week, I can see why legs are often neglected. :drunk:

Day 2
Pros - sing and dance as loud as I want
Cons - taking way too long between sets

Given the situation we find ourselves in, dont feel at all bad in taking too long. As long as youre enjoying it. Its better than rushing and injuring yourself or damaging your equipment or house.

After a month even a couple of weeks, I think once in a routine, your routine will take less time to get through.

Its like the first time when you hit a new gym, takes a while to find everything and get a feel for your new environment.

Outdoor gyms are now off limits.

Personal training is now down to 1 on 1.

Footscray park chin up bars are still open, noticed on a bike ride yesterday (fortunately solo training is still allowed).

Might ride down tomorrow with some hand sanitiser and fit in a quick session before work.

Glory be, every home gym workout is effort.

While I might at times hate my gym, this serves as a timely reminder of how good it is. I will say that a proper home gym set up where you take your time to properly have it set up perfectly in the long run is the way to go.

Can't even purchase any weights/equipment as its sold out everywhere I look :'(

As soon as the Govt made the announcement I panicked and jumped on line and purchased a weights set.

In fairness when I posted it on here where I could get it still online, it was still available and cheap too for about $130 down from $200. Home Gyms were completely sold out within 48hrs of the Govt announcement.

Rebels Sport and other Gym Warehouses have been pummeled and emptied out of weights, plates the lot.

I'd be happy with just a Pullup/Dip/Leg raise station but they are all sold out too. Not sure how long it will take for new stock to arrive if I pre-order.

Yeah just be careful with preorder, who knows how long it may be?

I was looking for one or two more items too but they have been sold out. Aside from health, the major driving factor for working out

I think I can sustain working out at home for up to 3 months imo, after that, there will be losses. Those "gains". :$
