Well well well. This is a new one.

- "Aqua play" lane
- A Karen and her little Johnny lap lane swimming
- Backstroke
- Two abreast

I'm sorry. I did not realise this public pool was your ******* private one.
Would love to just jump in there behind them and do sprint through the middle of em going the same way.

Not wanting to be THAT Karen but can you complain to the lifeguard or whatever for that sort of sh*t?
I said "excuse me" as they swam towards me and flattened myself against the lane rope. And i got "whose talking to me?!" And i just kept swimming said "me. I just said excuse me". "Oh".

And they eventually went somewhere else in the pool

Just heard on the radio lots of ppl suspending their gym memberships. Has been "one of the quietest new year periods, ever".

I must admit I've been avoiding it, but havent suspended.

Got a PT sesh tomorrow tho, and I've been walking + swimming. (which I'll do more of later this week)

A lot of people would have more equipment at home than ever before and some would have adapted to a new walking/running cardio routine when they where closed that they now enjoy.

Interesting time for the gym's and gaining back some of those more casual goers who may not need the access to the more specialist equipment they once thought and the people that used to go on the way to or after work at the office but are now working predominantly from home.

Got a sneaky suspicion my gym is going to close down.
Saw a guy yesterday doing inventory and measuring the area. :drunk:

I’m 8 days post positive covid test and did a really light weight session last night (kept the HR under 130 the whole time). Still felt pretty zapped afterwards.
Take it easy

/soup nazis voice maybe it should be no weights for you.

For a bit longer

Home work, home gym, home cinema, home delivery... its like we'll never leave the ******* house. * that

Yesterday was the first "staffed" day at my Anytime Fitness gym for 2022 and the gym was basically full! most people I've seen there on any given day... basically all equipment was in use for most of the time I was there (6pm) :O Seems the New Year crew were just a tad delayed haha

PT postponed until Tuesday.

Been up since 3am feeling very sorry for myself.
:(

No I did.

Had a horrible night

Sorry to hear that.

If you are physically unwell never go in to do any exercise. Rest and plenty of water.

If its mental/personal sometimes a walk is the best medicine to clear the head.
