Uhhhh huh - Port facing the premiership favs ( i know not that impressive) at Subi with tonnes of players under 50 games..... 10 goal quarter

Essendon, facing the Crows who were without Roo, Goodwin for most of the game, and a whole lotta other players, with two ruckmen , one of which hasnt played for a year the other whose in his first AFL year... The Crows without players who kicked 16 of the goals in the match in which they flogged you
Essendon with Hird, Lloyd and Michael in the team, three major players for your success all great
It seemed a lot more difficult for Port to beat Freo than The Dons beat to beat the Weak, lethargic, undermanned Crows
Stop being so bias
You're forgetting that Essendon finished second-last in 2006. Round 1 playing away from home. Even without Roo, most were tipping 'at least' a 4-5 goal win by Adelaide. To have the reverse happen, at AAMI Stadium (where are record is VERY poor), is nothing to poke a stick at.

Yes it is still early, and yes we beat the reining premier in Round 1 last year, but that was @ Telstra Dome with pretty much a whole list up and running. Things changed once Lloyd did his hammy in Round 3, and things can change again. But i tell you this, we have a better list than we did this time last year.

That has to be a positive. I for one am not getting too carried away.

Established facts:

a) Nearly a 200 point turnaround.
b) Both teams missing important players.
c) You are an idiot.
You are obviously too biased to understand the facts.... The Dons had a MUCH greater chance of beating the Crows than Port had of beating Freo - That was my original statement and it was a fact based on injuries etc etc

Obviously you would rate Essendon better than Port? Freo over Crows?

then it when prematch Freo>Crows>>Essendon>Port
1st v 4th, 2nd v 3rd

And seriously how can you compare Adelaides injuries to Essendon's injureis when you had nearly all of the players you rely on to do well.

So in turn I announce that You are the idiot!!!!

lol jk mate, as I stated it was just my opinion, and I believe the facts back it up

Essendon will finish with 8-10 wins, just enough to justify another Sheedy contract extention and another 3 years of middle of the road mediocrty
How many years of mediocrity are we up to with Hawthorn now? At what stage do you stop counting years & start counting decades?
