If it ever becomes an AFL venue again and can't be Princes Park then Optus Oval would be awesome – always loved the name.I did think that... though optus isn't a sponsor any more!

Horrible blight on the ground that name.If it ever becomes an AFL venue again and can't be Princes Park then Optus Oval would be awesome – always loved the name.
Installing a dirtbike track is very generous of the AFL.
They really need to replace the roofing of the gardiner stand, get rid of the bloody logo. How much is 40 sheets of colourbond, can't be that much.
"little less conservation little more renovation please...."Think the Gardiner stand needs some super serious renovations

Princes Park is what it should be called and no sellout renaming
Some of that old signage is embarrassing lol

A couple of dozers and a prime mover working flat out for 6 weeks to flatten out a hill and make a dam on my farm a couple of years ago - cost me 60K at mates rates for their time and machines ...dont forget to add the cost of a semi and trailer big enough to carry a dozer..to your calcs - a used one in ok condition will set you back 100K and a semi in similar condition maybe the same...you can try looking at Grays on line or machines4U for deals. What did the dozer cost you JAB?? Looking to buy one but damn they are expensive.
If you look closely enough, you can still see the Kenny Hunter body imprint, where Barney buried him into the turf.
It's called history. It gives the place charm to me; love seeing the old signage from the 90s.

How dare you mock the Princes Park aqueduct system! They will certainly need to do something about the public toilets. The ancient latrines are a tad dated and do not smell the best.

For that kinda of work - you could look at getting a simple bobcat - I ran a track loader CAT 348 model for simple pushing ...that route gives you a 4in1 bucket and easy access to a bunch of inexpensive tools you can use - you can pick up a bobcat or similar on wheels for 20-30K or less.Thankyou mate, Ive been looking online for something around D6-D8's but even 30 years old they are expensive I might have to go down the contractor route. But its kinda handy having a dozer on a 10 acre plus property for constant fire break clearing and dams .......
