Brent got 14 brownlow votes last year.
He has had a better year this year.
I think only Grant will take votes off him as King doesn't seem to poll well and Pickett doesn't get enough ball to be noticed by the umps.
The problem is he might not get many 3 votes because of playing in losing teams.

There have been better players this year, but if Woowodin can win one, so can Brent!

I think he is a real chance, he had a terrific period in the middle of the season (so much so I have my money on him @ 14/1).

Shane Woewodin had 7 good games all year last year, the game that won him the brownlow against west coast he was nowhere near a 2 vote performance so with this in mind I reckon boomer has a huge chance has he consistently got 30 touches a game.
However it wasnt just the touches he got it was the fact that he regulary took 2-3 bounces before he kicked it which would take the eye of the umpires even more you would asume.

Then again the award is voted on by the white maggots so seriously who knows who might win, Clayton may even be a show

I think of the votes available to Roos players... Granty will take too many off Boomer.... for him to be a serious contender... and in all honesty I would be dissapointed if he did win... as towards the end of the season I think he faded terribly... But then I have very high expectations for Brent...
