Deledio vs Murphy
Deledio vs Griffen
Deledio vs Pearce
Deledio vs Franklin

ETC, ETC, ETC!!

Brett Deledio, the genius, is obviously the benchmark youngster in the AFL.

He is the one teenager (yep teenager!) that every other under 22 year old is compared to.

Vote away!

It's just that most polls contain an obviously weaker player (In these cases, Deledio) to show obvious results in order to make the person who started the poll feel better about their own opinion.

Deledio is a freak.

These type of players dont reach their peak until later in their lives.

Deledio, Wells, Walker, Franklin etc

But the Murphy, Griffen, McLean types smoke the league up straight up.

Most unfairly critised player on BF.
Dare I say it, posters who bag him are just jelous because he is bigger, faster more athletic, stronger and skilled then players they have of a similar age as well as massive leadership material.
Those who bag him just look pathetic, especially the ones who think he is only good for running fast, (hello Carlton, maybe you should look at Walker)

The scary thing is, Lids got the most votes ever in the history of the Rising Star competition.

And he was just 17... Griff did good in his first year too, but nothing compared to Deledio's brilliance (as evident by the massive landslide in votes)

I think that goes to Wells.

Gets 20 possies, but people bag him.

Averaged 19 possies per game in the worst midfield, finishes top 5 twice out of 4 years and top 10 3/4 years yet is an "average" player.

If people are right, and this is Wells playing "shyte", how good will he be when he kills it?

PS: Dont worry, Lids is a dead set superstar.

I rate Griffen Deledio Murphy and McLean as the best 4 young midfielders in the game.

Sherman just behind.

Whats with Richmond's obsession with polls about their players. Your few young guns are irrelevant at your **** club.
A large majority of Deledio threads are started by opposition supporters trying to compare their youngsters to Deledio.

Since Lids is the benchmark for all young players he is polled all the time. :thumbsu:

yeh, this just shows he goes hard at the ball. Terry Wallet should probbly shows the tiges that. And also something else the tiges could take away from that, players actually stood up after for him after he got hit. It shows that theyre ready to stick up for him and have a great team atmosphere.
