Is Chad COrnes' B/E for real?

It says on fanfooty his b/e is 244.

Seems a bit high. Yes he got injured and only scored 60...but all his others matches bar 1 have been over 100.

Riewoldt scored 58 yet his b/e is 130 odd, granted he is 80g cheaper.


Fanfooty is often a little innaccurate with B/E. Harry Taylor has not hit his b/e for a few weeks now, yet his price keeps going up heaps, and now his b/e is 19.


Just need to know the accuracy of the Chad's B/e so i can formulate my plan. I was forced to trade him off as i lost 3 players out of my backline with only 1 cover. Need to start planning on getting him back.

This has already been said numerous times, but the b/e's on FFGenie and xalia are more accurate.

You traded him out? Stupid. Him and Heath Shaw seem to be the only genuine gun backs performing consistently around 100 this year.
Even worse is your looking to trade him back in? Are you serious what a waste of valuable trades.

Your plan should be not to trade out players who you want to trade back in later.

The way I see it, if coaches want break-evens for players then there are means available for them if they want to search for them. No need to put them on the AFL site.

The B/Es are not exactly accurate anywhere but FF Genie and xalia are close. The reason they are out is the magic number changes every week depending on the total points scored for the round / players total prices. That is why all the players who were priced at 430K averaging 100 ppw are now priced just over 400K with the same average. The magic number comes down until the rookies find their true price and then it flattens out. The number should not move much from here on in.

I had no option but to trade Chad. I was 2 short in my backline and i figured i could ake 100gn Goddard, and get Chad back when he's much cheaper...in essence saving 200g. Its actually a very clever move if you think it through because i also save a possible 200 points that i wouldve lost having to play a 0 for 2 rounds.


However, no one has answered my question....whats Chád's B/E...Monty...how innaccurate is fanfooty. If his b/e is 244 then my trade will turn out to be a work of genius.

I had to trade Cornes as well or cop a zero, so I traded cornes for ibbotson, upgraded a rookie to Richardson, whatever Cornes does when he comes back in , he will definately drop in price so i will pick up the week later... yeah I wasted a trade but overall my team will be better...

Why is it a wasted trade if you can maximise your score? I thought that was the point...

Relying on B/E's is unnecessary - surely you have the ability to check the last few games and see whether the player needs to perform out of their skin. I finished 11th one year without any idea what a B/E was and I still only find them useful for rookies - a gun is a gun get them when you can.
