Wells V Fremantle, goal of the year. Won the game (after bringing us level with a kick from the boundary). V Carlton, won us the game from 50 on the line after a free kick. V Richmond, chase down on Rodan in the McCartney game. Won us the game.

There's 3 I can think of right now.

Deledio is a gun. An absolute gun. I think they are very simmilar footballers who probably need to get more selfish and realise just how good they are.

:thumbsu: I will say this though, they are different in that IMO Deledio's a better defender and Wells is a better forward. But they are very similar in ability, style of play and skill.

Both better defenders, but both have the capacity to kill teams on the offensive, but they havent done it enough as their defensive acts.

Deledio played well off a HB flank last year for the last 7 games averaging 22 possies.

Wells is very good with 1 percenters and chases like a motherlover.

Both will be freaking guns.

hammer, nail, head spot on :thumbsu:
just have to look back at our NAB cup game vs Geelong for the most recent example, looked to dish off a handball twice while streaming into goal 45 and 35 out, needs to get more selfish and have a crack. Wells too, obvious gamebreaking abilities but sometimes gets caught up too much doing the 1 percenters (which incidently, he is not given nearly enough credit for). cant be in 2 places at once, once he balances that and North support him better at the clearances look out.

Maybe. It's just that I think Wells would be a better HFF than a HBF, Deledio's probably the other was around. But it's just MO, both are very good defensively, good awareness of the opposition.
