I just think if hes getting games it means one of our other defenders have season ending injuries. Is there one single thing about the rest of the year for our team that you're not dreading?

Good post.Or they're having a 2-3 week injury? Or maybe one of the others needs a rest? Suspension maybe? Seriously...where's the logic? MacKenzie is our 3rd best option as a tall defender and it's a long season.
He's a much better one on one defender than Barrass too, so we wouldn't lose anything much if Tom was out for a few weeks after the bye.
We have a really good squad with depth in every position, and Eric is part of that depth. There is absolutely nothing to fear from the notion of him getting a few games.
what if gov or barrass miss a week or 2 . Having schoey and emac ready to come in and play that role is very important . It takes 30 players to win a premiership over the course of the seasonIf he gets a game this year it means we are fcuked.
Imagine Mackenzie having to kick out of defense late, in a cutthroat moment on the G. Kicks it straight to Dusty who bangs through a sausage and puts the tigers in front with only 3 minutes to go
Yeah I know, it’s just that one time against Sydney...I will never forgetExcept he won't because he'll kick it to a contest outside 50 near the boundary because he's a consummate professional.
Honestly in a cut throat final Emac stuffing up is right down the bottom of my list of worries somewhere below the stadium being struck by a solid gold asteroid shaped like a llama.
YEAH! Barras is such a good marker!!!If he gets a game this year it means we are fcuked.

2009I apparently have forgotten and will need a hint. What year are we talking about?![]()
2009
Fast forward to 1 hr, 49 minutes, 45 seconds
To be fair it wasn’t the biggest clanger of all time but I remember it stinging bad watching at the time, and I never felt comfortable with him kicking after that.
On the bright side if we won we might not have ended up with Sheppard in the draft!

Yeah I know, all of these posts have been very tongue in cheek. I would love for EMac to smash back into the side and displace Barrass as long as he’s playing consistently well - which he unfortunately hasn’t been able to do post-acl.Hah...he was 21 at the time. Tom is older now than Eric was on this day
I think defenders should have an amnesty on ****-ups before they're 23. It's how they learn.
Don't you mean McKinley's gargantuan **** up of a kick to Cox in the 4thI remember that 2009 game for Cox's gargantuan **** up of a kick to McKinley in the 4th
Really? I've got it the other way around in my headDon't you mean McKinley's gargantuan **** up of a kick to Cox in the 4th
Except he won't because he'll kick it to a contest outside 50 near the boundary because he's a consummate professional.

True, wouldve got a few good offers a couple of years ago, dont think he was keen thoWe should have traded him when he was worth something still
But can you provide an instance of a late, great decision in a cut throat final.
Didn't think so.![]()
