Cant u come up with a decent rebuttal braindead.
So you're under the impression when there wasn't a TAC Cup round, Rocca didn't go back and play Reservoir-Lakeside seniors?

Fraser went back and played in the SUPER competitive league that Mansfield U18/9 plays in?

The Clokes never stepped foot onto a Park Orchards ground with the seniors? Instead, they played in the COLTS or U19's, right?

:)

He's not much good ATM but he has potential. Fanning tried hard and was beaten up by a brutal ruck duo. He will develop for sure, hopefully into an AFL standard ruckman.

Its a shame our big blokes keep shattering like glass. Two Clokes got hurt on Saturday, Fanning will be very sore, Rocca's out long term, maybe Fraser should be, Guy Richards is hurt too, Tarrant is playing hurt, Presti's just back. Can we recruit a ruck or any tall at all who doesn't crumple up?

Best. Comment. On this thread!

As for Flaps, the arguament is that 99% of football players played JUNIOR FOOTBALL before being drafted to the AFL. They played some form of organised football, normally TAC Cup level (U18s) as a max.
Flaps stopped playing footy when it was 15 (five years ago), and played basketball, only switching back to football in 2004. Thus, the comments about his "senior" footballing experience should be changed to footballing experience full stop. Last year he played a handfull of VFL Reserves football (having injured his knee, surprise surprise for a Collingwood tall!), and then bang, he was playing AFL football Round 1 2005.
Hence his inexperience isn't limited to AFL experience, but the whole AFL/VFL/VFL Reserves experience.

Ill bet you 100 dollars none of those blokes played senior football before they were drafted.

Stan, feel free to look through other senior results and find the multiple TAC Cup listed players in there.

I know that quite a few played in the MPNFL seniors last week. ;)

Fanning is a kid doing a mans job and hes doing it very very well and shows tons of potential.[/QUOTE]

Dave is NOT a dud!
Dave is doing a great job cant wait for Josh to come back and see them working together. I have a high opinion of Dave he is progressing very nicely and learning from his opponents every week.

Hard to say at this stage. Give him another year. At this point I can safely say he is easily beaten in the ruck and around the ground and doesn't look to have any KP promise. If we had ruck options I'd delist him but we have one and he is always injured to the point n where if e had ruck option I'd delist him..... It's all very disheartening really. For the entire reign of MM we have been desperate for a ruckman and here were getting smashed in the ruck week in week out. No one in any management capacity would keep their job if they practiced that sort of staff management.

Ive said fanning is a dud i admit, but after tonight there is maybe just maybe something there.I could see some potential, a flicker.

He was up against equally inexperienced ruckmen, similar body size's as well and got 28 hitouts of which 25 went to an essendon player but the intent was there i might add.

Not to bad tonight, needs plenty of work but you could see his confidence grow as the night wore on. i may have this one wrong.
