Totally understandable that Geelong would rush to re-sign Rohan. At a spritely 30 years, he d have to be one of the youngest on their list.

I remember at a swans v cats game at gmhba in 2019, I was right behind the goals and could clearly hear rampe calling Rohan a “weak c###” and the swans were very clearly trying to get into his head. Seemed a little different than most ex team mates and I think the swans thought it would affect him more than most

In an interview shortly after Garry was traded to Geelong Chris Scott alluded to the fact he thought that Longmire and the Swans weren't getting the best out of him because they didn't play him in the right positions.

I'm not sure what Scott has done differently but it doesn't seem to have changed much.

Pretty amazing that he's played as many as Kennedy and more than either Sidebottom or Parker.

Actually, if you check the stats Rohan had -6m gained at halftime last week meaning that Higgins performed better int he first half despite being the non-activated medical sub

Shaw obviously had one of the all time worst grand final moments, but his 2012 grand final was pretty good.

Few get as many chances at redemption as Rohan has had and...

You may have ommitted one of the toughest SoBs from that era...Snr Sergeant Allan Jeans. Controlled venom.

Im sure you are familiar with the Peter McKenna interview of he and Tommy after the Bruns Matthews disagreement. Seething. Macca did well to not wet himself. The Captain Blood wanders in with his bucket sized hands and baskets of goodies to sooth over the high tension.

Good points well made. I suppose it come down to him being such an eye catching player, that he comes across as having attributes of speed, a good pair of hands and a beautiful kick, that it just seems incredible for him to have games where he has virtually zero impact. Plus of course neutrals are much more likely to be watching, or at least taking notice of him in finals than in H&A games not involving their own team.

If he had brown hair the time we spend talking about him would be about 5% of what it is now IMO

I don’t get Rohan at all. He has all the attributes required yet can’t get near it.

If I could run that fast, jump that high, mark that well, kick beautifully I would be a great of the game.

Does the ground swallow him up and hide him? The red hair should also stand out but I can never find him.
