"I wouldn't put Carey in the second Team of the Century. I am not a Carey fan. I reckon he is not in the top 100. He is overrated to buggery."

This is a man who was once the chief writer of the Football Record, but more alarmingly he was one of 8 people in charge of selecting the AFL team of the century.

I just purchased the Carey - story so far, just so I can have it on DVD so my boys can appreciated what he was, they have watched it once and are in total amazement of some of those marks he took running back into the back.

Not to even rank in the top 100.

Did his story finish with , in an amazing recovery Greg Hobbs has awoken from a 13 year coma to again take up his job as a sports journalist.

When i read this thread , i hadnt read that artical in the paper yet.... i thought you may have taken it out of contest so i grabbed the paper and ...yep read it word for word..........that is an amasing comment and i cant beleive it hasnt made more headlines.

I think i will try and get in contact somehow,not sure how yet and ask him exactly the 100 players that would be ahead of him - then i will tear him a new arseh*le with his reply!
There is absolutly no way he would be able to find 100 players ahead of the duck.
