Even if Carlton thought about it, there is no way that Clarkson would ever agree to such an arrangement.
Think what you like about Clarkson but it's my view that he has huge respect for his coaching peers and wouldn't derail the ambitions of a coach in Voss that has worked so hard to deserve a 2nd opportunity. Furthermore Carlton are still alive to play finals despite injury issues most notably to their backline.
