I feel a great disturbance in the AFL. As if millions of footy fans have suddenly cried out in terror and are about to be silenced. I suspect something special is about to happen.

He moves among other players unnoticed. They cannot not sense his bulking frame any more than they can decipher the mind of god, for they are mortal and he is not. He cannot be seen, he cannot be heard, he cannot be touched.

Has the time come for the intangible Brant Colledge to save us from ourselves?

Really? I though they'd take them out straight away. Oh well. Season proper is where it counts so i guess that makes sense.

I thought he looked the goods, although given the phase our list in at the moment he would be a fair way back in the pecking order in terms of getting a midfield gig. The focus for him this year would be to perform at a high level for East Perth. It's easy to forget given his size that he's only a second year player so he has time on his side relatively speaking.

All the fringe players are going to benefit playing for East Perth this year. Just a pity we aren't wearing the wings.
