I already have Limewire, but I just wonder whether Limewire Pro is worth paying the extra for.
Bwahahahaha. I'll give you the tip.

Open standard Limewire. Program search for Limewire Pro. Bada bing bada boom.

No, Limewire isn't even worth using and you can easily get Limewire Pro for free. Something to do with it being open source or something, I dunno but it's easily and readily available online.

Depends, for single music files, Limewire/Bearshare are the best. Torrents are no good for that.
the question should be: is limewire worth having at the risk of opening your system to countless internet attacks?
****ING HELL NO.

geez you would think people would be a bit more smart in the year 2008 about internet security. You should not use Limewire, or any other p2p single file sharing software system.

If you want to download P2P, do it through torrents, and get the torrents from sites that are properly monitored and regulated so that you do not download viruses, and crap from america's anti-piracy stuff.

and on top of that, be careful what you download - all sites keep a log, you don't want to be caught now do you? :p

But if you're aware, you can spot a fake from a mile away by the ID tags and filesize. Never had a problem with LimeWire Pro but I can see how people who just pick the ones with the most sources could get a completely rooted computer.

THat's when Im downloading open source and free legal MP3s of course. . .

With a "good" torrent uploaded you can, they will leave it as single files in the folder so you can pick and choose, some do put them into .rars but usually you will find they don't with albums.
