Lets hope anyway, Scooter showed so much at the start of the year which isnt that apparent anymore..

Is it just me or did Scooter start of this year as a brilliant attacking midfielder and now his form has dropped off?

Experienced trio Kerr, Priddis and Embley are so vital to our midfield when their in form, it's hard to say who's more valuable.

I donno whether or not it's just because we were playing against a much weaker midfielder, but our midfield looked about 3 times better this week with Shuey back in the side. I think it helps when Naitanui is against weaker ruckmen who don't body him as much too. Everyone of the big marks he took on the weekend you could see coming a mile away because no one had body on him. As soon as he gets a chance to run and jump in a pack situation he almost always takes the mark.
Our reliance on the Shue is a bit worrisome. He got more than a quarter of our whole team's clearances last weekend (10/39). Let's hope he can handle Crowley without any blows to the genitals in frustration (the head is sacrosanct according to MRP)

It's not like he does gets 10 clearances a week though. He isn't Jobe Watson carrying a crap midfield, he just played a very good game. Priddis, Kerr, and scooter get there fair share as well so there isn't a 'reliance' on shuey just yet.
Lets see how he goes copping the crowley tag this week, so he gets a chance to know what i it feels like to be Daniel Kerr for the last 5 years...
