I know the phrase "Most Valuable" is somewhat vague, but I'll define it as "hardest to replace".
Against Sydney and Adelaide our midfield was destroyed. Comparisons with 2010 were valid IMO, because we saw a return to players being bumped off the ball and circular handball work.
Right from the first bounce against Brissie, Shuey broke the lines and set the opposition on the back foot. I'm not suggesting we'd have won the previous two weeks, if Shuey had played, but I think we'd have at least given the opposition some defending to do.
I believe Luke Shuey is our most valuable midfielder. Do you?
