I only attend matches against interstate teams or minnows like North now because of this.
The crowd at Metricon on the weekend was astonishing. Easily 20,000 of the 22,000 were Collingwood supporters
It guarantees we will never go the way of Fitzroy or South Melbourne but makes it very difficult to attend games and grand finals virtually impossible.

This has always been an issue (and a good one mind you, as it means that we have a team that is relevant). I can still remember the days trying to get to Victoria Park before about 1pm to ensure that you wouldn't be locked out.
