Charter boat? what charter boat?
It's quite obvious, we don't have a forward line.

Give him time, returning from injury hopefully finds some form vs GC go into the bye and regain his form after thatbut davey sucked tonight...?
Swapping Hurls and Jake seems like a good idea, but will we stick with it? Delivery stil a HUGE problem
Probably haven't seen enough of Carlisle to be certain ( easier to play well in short bursts up forward than week in, week out) but I'm starting to think he's our best forward option and that it will significantly improve us to have him there...his pack marking is no small thing....he'll either clunk them or at least bring a soft crumb to ground, very hard for opposition to destroy the contest when he's involved. Plus he's a great plan B, i.e. nobody open or on the lead then go long to Carlisle. Hurley, Ryder, Gumby don't give you this and TBC only occasionally. I'm keen for Carlisle to play forward from the start against GC and see what happens. Plus, I love, and have always loved, Hurley back.Hurley was going well enough as a forward in the first half. Simply swapping Carlisle and Hurley is not going to change much for our forward line (except that Carlisle might hold on to a few more pack marks).
I thought that Gumbleton generally got to the right spots around the ground against Sydney and it was the conditions which prevented him holding the marks that would have seen him have a really good first half against a quality opponent.
I'm still not seeing anything that says that we can continue down the path of excluding Gumbleton from the best 22 (Daniher is obviously not ready). I don't care whether Carlisle or Hurley plays forward/back, getting the additional key forward into the side is what is important.
