I heard Wayne Hughes say that he is a great kick. From all the footage I've seen its very awkward. This guy has great aggression but do we need another player to turn the ball over? Or is my thread a bit RIIIIIIIIIIIIICH!!!!!

Wayne has seen alot of Robbo at VFL level. National Championships tend to be fairly rushed and alot of long kicking and quick clearances. Players trying to get THEIR kick. A bit more time and space at VFL and AFL level.

Noone's doubting that Robbo has a very awkward kick, but it is usually very effective. He kicks the ball a long way and is usually pretty accurate.

I wouldn't have thought his disposal is something to worry about.

Awkward doesn't mean ineffective, he has a very penetrating right boot and from what i've seen he hits targets more often than not.

You are so dry I'm never quite sure when you are taking the pi$$ out of me Thy, so I'm going to err on the side of caution and give you my personal red card :)

Please don't direct any posts my way for a week ;)
Haha .... thy is an equal opportunity urine extractor. You may not need a personal red, as thy has taken a liking to other team boards and the succulent comebacks available therein!

And is hard at the ball as well. Grigg copped a blood nose on Friday from a very hard contest that Robo went a million miles at.
No doubt he is hard at it. It sounds like he has a fantastic attitude and that is very good to hear. Throw a few more kilos on him and he should be a very productive player in the future.

He could very well turn out to be our best pick this year. He has great balance, speed and agility. Looks a great athlete and a similar mould to Judd and Walker. Nothing wrong with his kicking and i recon we have picked a winner here.
