No sign of retiring.
I get the feeling some sections who hated him up till now are starting to think "this guy will be with us for a while yet, perhaps we need to engage with him" It's like they were waiting for him to move on, and then continue their process with a 'better' PM. For example the aboriginal lobby.
One would hope Howards best is yet to come because even under the most glowing inspection his efforts haven't amounted to much. If he has aspirations of another 8 yrs or so to catch up with menzies and ther is the same output the country will be in a coma.

By the way I still hate the little toe.
