Skipworth was a far better mature age recruit which is saying something. Would be the 6th - 7th player in a good country footy side. Get rid of!!!!

Well considering we've played better footy for four weeks longer this year than 2012, by 2015 we should be able to run out 25 weeks...just in time to compete with the Suns and Giants.

I think we're all on a slide. The seasons end can't come quick enough. Players & fans alike have had enough, clearly. I'm over this almost to the point of never giving a single **** ever again. Just penalise us, as it's clearly now inevitable the AFL will try something, and be done with it so we can move on.

Yes, yes the slide is now officially on. 2nd to 7th in 3 weeks. Can't blame them though, with the trash that's been getting thrown around day in, day out for the last 6 months, how is this sort of burn out surprising? Words cannot describe how frustrating as a supporter it is to see this happening to our club, due to UNBELIEVABLE incompetence on ASADA's and the AFL's behalf. Just absolutely ******* woeful

Playing the devil's advocate here, does anyone else find it a little "off" that a team of players being paid a total of somewhere in the vicinity of $8-9 million has deplorable on field efforts excused because of the mental pressure they've been under for a few months? Put it this way, if you had a brain tumour and had surgery, which the surgeon stuffed up because they'd been under pressure, would you turn around and say "I'd expect that because of the pressure he's been under"? A lot of these blokes are paid as well as or better than a lot of professionals, but either seem to lack the ability, or the support, to deal with the mental aspects of their profession.

I'd be interested to know how intensive the psych input has been with the club during the year and how it hasn't been identified that these guys were sliding downhill.

Both very unfair responses. I do believe the slide is on but not enough for the Bombers to drop out of finals. I think they'll get a second wind and make it to the prelims, depending on opponents of course.

And just for answering the question, I got a four day ban even though my response is neither trolling nor was this post for Bombers fans only. I'm very confused and disappointed.

Looking back now, I can see why some people would take offense to comment if my intentions were misinterpreted. I was quite busy at the time and didn't have the time to put in a full reply. Sorry to anyone I upset.
