That win was very important.

The last thing we needed was another thumping.

5 goals to Fev, Waite named in the best. Perfect.

Have a win next week and hopefully the 99 point raping from Port Adelaide will be erased.

Last week's match hurt. Good to have a win to at least break the pattern, practice match or not. Glad to see most supporters not getting carried away.

Both sides seem to have had a crack while getting some match practice into their kids and those returning from injury. That's about all that was in it for WC, while Carlton have a great deal of credibility and respect to regain with their own supporters, as well as the rest of the comp.

Interested to hear of Bower's mark. Any details?
