Would be pretty happy with this. Get two tough road matches out of the way early.

Sorry for the intrusion, but this is actually incorrect. We make $30 per patron for a game at Kardinia Park, and with the capacity being extended to over 30,000 next year, this will mean we're going to rake in close to $1m for each home game. A home game at Etihad, on the other hand, nets us around $600k. The AFL is really the only thing stopping us from playing big clubs at Kardinia Park.
Either that or we should play you at the MCG. Geelong/Essendon have drawn some big crowds there in previous years, and with you guys on the rise again, there's no reason to suggest our games won't do so in the future.

It's not that long ago- 2005 to be exact- when Geelong and Collingwood were often clashing at Etihad rather than the MCG.

If Essendon and Geelong are up at the same time, I am almost certain our clashes will return to the MCG.
