Is this a fake or not?

This picture is doing the email rounds. It has sparked a fair bit of discussion at work as to whether is real or a hoax.

What do you think?

Apparently this picture was taken by a tourist atop the World Trade Center. His camera was found in the rubble, he has not yet been found.

I do have some doubts as to it's authenticty.

Rohan posted the pic a few days ago.

Somebody else posted a link (either in that thread or a new one) to a site which validates the authenticy of a lot of the "spooky" (ie - bull****) emails and circulars doing the rounds at the moment.

it's a fake Chris, the restaurants and observation areas were not even open when the planes crashed into the buildings, so nope, not even close
(there is a site that debunks this and other "myths" that have already grown about this tragedy)

yeah i too thought it was a fake.

However, it kind of a weird thing, cause its not the type of the thing you would thing someone would do to cause a hoax. Normally, hoax' are made to cause a stir or controversy or offend poeple, and i really dont see how people are going to be offended by this.

But it is fake.


The other ones, which are definetaly fakes are pictures where you can see the "devil" within the smoke. Seen the pics, and find it very hard to believe they are not superimposed.

Yeah, and it looks convincing as opposed to the 7-11 one. But the 7-11 is also amusing. I'd put the donkey one up here, but it would be removed swiftly.
