I dunno whether I'm barking up the wrong tree here but why don't we try and entice Malcolm Blight to have another go at coaching?? Is it as silly as some may think?

I know he got burnt at the aints but there'd be a real challenge for him at tigerland. Personally i'd love to have blight coach the tiges. He'd do wonders for us. The saints just stuffed him around in the end. We have a better list that stkilda had during his time there and I'm sure he'd clean out all the garbage we have.

Blight and Miller......DREAM TEAM IMO.

sounds good doesnt it,

but i seriously dont think blights heart is in coaching anymore, I think he is enjoying his life up in Qld too much and out of the spot light.
The fire always burns coach. He's a had a good rest and invested the million bucks he gratefully received from the aints so I reckon it wouldnt be out of the question. Worth a try I reckon. Wouldnt be surprised if miller had this in the back of his mind.

Cant stand the prick.

Just look at the St.kilda debacle to see how much of
a wierdo,****er,spoilt brat, bong-head he is.

U rekkon Frawley is vague- **** me!!!

This guy made a career out of a torpedo punt goal from the half forward flank..

He walked into a ready made state team (Adelaide) and rode on
their shirt tails.
I dont think he's worth a pinch of ****.

IMO we're better off with O'Donell,Harvey,Wallace or the top 4.

I disagree Oxx. He was a superstar player, took geelong to 3 GF's and won 2 with adelaide. Forget about stkilda. He was too tough for them. I reckon he'd do ok. Adelaide was far from a ready made state team when he arrived. He made wholesale changes and whipped them into shape. Talk about grand finals experience, this guy oozes it.

Malcolm Blight phoned-in his performaces at Saints. For example, the club organised a function for players' families to get together and meet each other and the coach and Blight chose to play golf instead without telling anyone.

He didn't put in the work, just delegated everything to his assistants and basically rocked up on match day. He was a part-time coach on very very big bucks.

He would be an appalling choice and Saints were absolutely right to sack him. Nothing to do with being too tough, and a whole lot to do with not being there.
