Based purely on the threads started in the last couple of weeks, I think I have worked out what our issue is:

Buckley can't coach
We have no game plan
Our defenders are poorly skilled
We haven't sacked Buckley
We can't do kickouts
There is no belief
We only hire ex players
We need to bring back ex players
Pendles is not a good captian
We are not the Bulldogs
The supporters expect too much
Hine drafted poorly
We have no leadership
Jarrod Blair
We have a drug culture
We use a defensive zone
Our midfield setup is wrong
We have slow ball movement
We have slow players
Daveron
We don't have a ruck coach
We don't support Buckley enough
We support Buckley too much
We traded poorly
We can't develop players
It's Robbo's fault

Where is our soul? Is Gary Pert the devil incarnate? I don't really have much idea about the man, but somewhere in our corporate and financial expansion, the sponsors queuing up to sponsor us, and our newly renovated palatial headquarters, we have lost something really vital.

I am a supporter of most of what Ed and Pert have done, on the basis that it would make us a better club and team, and WIN FLAGS. But I just feel so empty and disappointed, after so many false starts of the last few years. I think I want to go away and hide and ponder on this 'soul' thing.

Is our borderline incestuous mindset of having a CEO/President/Coach all the way down to the boot studder be a former player, the staunchest of Pies supporters or at least live in the suburb of Collingwood part of what is wrong with our club!?

It's extremely hard to see the bigger picture or even be rational in difficult times especially for fans but surely there must be times where passion for the guernsey is a detriment to progression or decision making at a high level within our organisation.

Is it time for a clean out?
Fresh set of eyes and ideas that doesn't have black and white running through their veins!?

Our last 2 premiership coaches were from other clubs with no connection to us.

There needs to be a total clear out, from the president down. There are too many powerful people who have been there too long.

I just want the best people at Collingwood, if it is internally-that's even better. But jobs "for the boys" is bad for culture.

I mean, are Tarkyn Lockyer and Anthony Rocca really any value?
Even guys like Robert Harvey and Ben Hart don't fill me with any confidence.

It's definitely one of our issues, which is part of why Eddie needs to go.

Not only is he seemingly obsessed with only having "Collingwood people" he doesn't even keep the right ones.

Damian Monkhorst is at Hawthorn
Graeme Wright is at Hawthorn

Andrew Ireland is the one. They should move heaven and earth to get him and Wright back to the club.

But seriously, as far as those two posts go, on the one hand, you're saying the club doesn't stand 'side by side'. Then two past players who happen to have coaching positions, should be tossed out with the bathwater. I'm pretty sure you wanted to get a reaction both times, but you know what, you didn't sleep last night!!! Is this all really working for you?

I noticed a similar concept/approach with TG the other day. In one thread condemning Collingwood for drafting BK. The he goes and starts a thread lamenting the loss of him.

Seriously, criticise the club by all means, but there's a way to go about it...
