It does but if you had to choose out of Cunnington, LDU, Simpkin, Powell, Phillips, Greenwood I’d take Cunners, Powell and LDU.

And that’s great . He played well and I’d play him there but for whatever reason he has been played outside, again there could be multiple reasons for this and sometimes a player will be asked to play a role that is not in their comfort zone. Rumours of two players thus far being disgruntled is alarming.

For what it’s worth I’d say playing outside is to develop his game. Very few players are at every single bounce and with more mids than mid spots versatility is desirable.

There’s the possibility he’ll play more inside when he’s built for it. He’s currently a drink of water.

If we start letting 19 yo kids dictate where they play, then we’re completely ****ed. More ****ed than we are now.

In case I didn't make myself clear, I think there are some bullshit "rumours" going around.

Occam's Razor tells us that the simplest explanation is usually the one that is most correct.

So which do we believe? Goldstein is told he is being left out, cracks the shits, so the coaches change their selection to keep him happy, or that he was simply selected in the team as normal? Bear in mind this particular rumour came out when Goldstein was named on the field and CCJ on an extended bench.

Do we believe that Tom Powell has been told he would be an outside mid, and then they play him on the inside in the VFL? Doesn't make sense to me.

Jy taunting Powell, or offering support for his mate and then realising it is a bad look to do it publicly?

Born in 72 so our last wooden spoon year until recently. I have seen some good times, and hoping like hell we get out of this asap . But I would say this year and the best part of next we will have issues . Spoke to one of my Roo mates today and we reminisced about the 90s when we expected to win every week and if we lost generally would win the next week. I remember at one stage we didn't lose 3 games in a row under Denis for quite a number of seasons we were so competitive.
