How has the top end survived. Jen, Sonya, Brady all need to go. This club is a shambles with no one holding accountability.

43 years of going to the footy and this is the darkest time I have seen.

We need stronger, more demanding and assertive leadership at the top.

No more happy tweets, no more cuddles, no more accepting mediocrity.

This club from the top down is a soft and hopeless as I have ever seen it!

Mate any player that is a true leader can’t do shit In a team like this. This will break the strongest imo.

No amount of captains or leaders on the ground isn’t going to do shit because the rest of the team don’t believe in the club, the system, the stuff coming out of the coaches mouth, the path and have no-one to actually look up too. Imagine looking up and seeing heads down and no one caring. For over 4 years….

The players don’t make the decisions on the list either. It’s funny how we give the players the credit when this group actually plays well and wins, but zero to the culture and the environment and when we lose, its the “shit” list.

We have no one above the players leading the ways. So we’re lost out there. It’s the weak leading the way.

What the hell do we even stand for anymore, our culture is all rainbows and lollipops since the noble era.

The Eagles were underachieving, they had 8 premiership players on the field last night and double digits in All Australians. We have slop.

Look we all agree with that. And it's those quality senior players that allow the youngsters to develop.
So a question - what is it that NM need to become successful?
You've had a shitload of high draft picks - so giving you more doesn't seem to be the answer. Do you need a salary cap that exceeds other clubs to allow you to 'buy' senior talent? Do you need extra spots reserved for player above a certain age (bit like the senior list of a few years back where half of their salary was excluded from the cap)
Be constructive here (sacking EVERYONE isn't usually constructive) - as the last think NM need is confining the talented youngsters you have to a career of unfulfilled talent or they up stakes and leave.

it's not our problem anymore, afl needs to give us better compo and handout to get us back on our feet.

It's good in a way that the ball is in the hands of the competition.

We are in this position because of the academy, compromised draft, f/s so i say f them, we are going to tank each year until afl gives us our fair share of the spoil or we get relegated. Oh, my bad there is no relegation so only afl handouts.

The last few years have been horrendous too but the list has had to be reshaped for a long time and is still in the process now. I’m not usually too pragmatic about footy but all I can say is this time we have to give it time. That’s the only way I see it now.
