How can they know what is happening with players and coaches if they can't speak to their Managers?

The managers will take calls, they just don't see the point in the players talking to the club until all this uncertainty is gone.

Do you know how recruiting works? Players have to sell themselves to clubs, as much as the club sells itself to the player.

I'm hearing so many stories about how our club off field is performing worse than it is on field. Don't know what to believe and what to dismiss. But even if part true we must be an absolute basket case. Something has to give very soon. Players, staff - lots of unhappy people.

Never thought it would come to this, but I cancelled my membership last week.

Member for 15 years straight, Schimma Club, Box On… In 2007 drove 4 hrs after work to make it to Dallas Brooks Hall on that fateful night.

So much has changed for the better since 2007, but I cannot support the club financially anymore with the current ‘leadership’ in place. From the CEO to the coach, this club is a basket case. Membership dept can’t even respond to an email.

I have an idea, play footy, if shit won't get drafted, if good club may draft you. In all seriousness I would imagine that it would be irresponsible and unethical for any player manager to do that with a draftee. Plenty of kids out there who thought they would get drafted but didn't, why would anyone in their right mind limit their options?

opinion. players putting off contract negotiations is a massive worry , Zurhaar , JHF wanting out , TT. and no ability to bring any worthwhile player to the club.

I will say putting off contract talk is not terminal plenty of cases where it gets mopped up post season.

TT and JHF have a season left so there is time to work it out , assuming we get a new coach this offseason that may go a long way to fixing things, CZ can go if the deal is right. I can tell you other clubs won’t tolerate 2 months to get going

Even the leadership thing is overblown because we are losing. It brings the worst out of all facets. Hopefully we nail list management and coaching, the mood (and that currently is what it is) will change.

I didn't realise there were so many pantie wearers on this board and they're all getting them in a bunch together.

We're certainly taking some pain at the moment, probably long overdue but I've got no doubt that issues that have been left festering for years are being addressed.

It's like ripping off bandages, it's pretty awful at the time but things do get better.
