This is some amazing tin foil hat stuff here. He was criticising the AFL and the NRL as he thought they were dragging their feet, which, in hindsight they probably were (particularly the NRL). Not a huge fan of his, but in this case he was spot on.

Fair enough, I don’t agree. Going hard has worked reasonably well for us as a country. Flying footy players around the country would’ve at best undermined the message, at worst would further spread the virus. Sad to hear about Tim Brooke-Taylor.
