But yes it is a beautiful day. I just read all about the Hawks victory in the sunshine at PO Square whilst fighting off all the storks and pigeons, who obviously wanted to read about it too (no no of course they werent after the food, they just love footy, why else would they appear at every match! ).

I think the prob is that Brisbane itself, doesnt really offer much to do. If I stay here on weekends I usually just end up going out with workmates Friday night, shopping, and doing coffee with friends for the weekend - nothing exciting.
You need to go up or down the coast for something to do.
Hey have you noticed if there are many Brisbaners on the BF board - do you think we could perhaps organise our own end of season bash?

Just a little after midnight here. Sunday was a beautiful day, but hot and muggy. Supposed to reach close to a century by Wednesday with high humidity. The weekend had bad and good - the Doggies lost but my Cubs beat the St Louis Cardinals Sunday evening. I guess I'm lucky being here while the Cubs are doing so well. Maybe I'll see ONE of my teams win a championship this year! ( If only it could have been the Doggies..... )
