Issac Quaynor - Oakleigh Chargers (NGA eligible for Collingwood)
General Defender
180 cm 77 kg
18/5/2000

At this stage predicted to go in the second round, although as Collingwood have first dibs on him that might cause a bid to come earlier than his actual worth

Played a massive 17 games in TAC Cup this year

Early thoughts and predictions?

We'll play a game of hide and seek. Bid on first round will be ballsy!!!

No chance we let him slip, first genuine NGA talent in the LEAGUE

Admittedly Quaynor is very promising, too

Yep genuinely embarrassed I forgot about Taryn. But I do think that they'll be the faces of the Next gen program for years
Not wrong there! At least you have that Holt-Fitz kid in N.T that is the first genuine N.T academy talent

Do the Pies have Nathan Green, too?

Reckon he'll prove to be a jet this year
In response it seems the pies board aren't too confident about Nathan Green being NGA eligible

There’s mixed stories about Green. Some think he is and some think he isn’t, just depends which Collingwood forums your on.

At this stage i’ll follow the bloke posts on BF who says he isn’t. Shame because he’s shaping up to be a good talent.

Some Highlights:

Very smart bodywork, strong mark and decent kick TD, looks like he could be a real talent. Where are you expecting a bid for him? I reckon with the spotlight of being a top ager he'll be a first-round pick

Not sure where Nathan came from, think you guys are referring to Matthew Green from Barkly.

What is an NGA?
Next generation Academy. Basically the personal training program clubs give to kids who have parents from another country or they're from another country, which means if they're in a clubs partnered TAC Cup team (Collingwood with Oakleigh, St.Kilda with Sandy) they get first dibs like Northern Academies or Father Son

I see. Much like the Tarryn Thomas situation with North. Thanks.

Thought TD or Langers would be updating this thread mainly but Quaynor trained with Collingwood for a week during preseason. Reports are all very positive as he impressed with his kicking and hardness at the footy

I have not heard much about him.

Though he looks to already have a AFL Ready Body

Once we figured out who he was, there were a couple of positive reports on him. Nicely built and the reports said he had lovely skills. Exciting times a head for the young bloke.
