When you see what Carey,Stevens,Arch and McKernan have done for the club then you know that we are going to survive. Not just because of the money but because they actually did it. We are so lucky to have these type of characters at our club. By them doing this it must create an atmosphere amongst the younger guys that our club is a place to be. And what role models. What I am trying to say is that as a Kanga supporter I wouldnt want to be anywhere else. Give me the ups and downs anyday, that is what goes to making up a great club. Good players, not so good players as long as they do there best on the day that will do me. And we really cant complain can we, there best over the last five years has been exactly that for two GF and we played teams that were just better on the day in the others. And I realised why we dont have an over abundance of supporters, I am not going to go through all the teams but I will give you a few reasons.
Carlton have the rich and stuffy supporters-
Richmond mostly have ferral supporters-
With apologies to Joffa, I cant describe the Collingwood supporters-
etc etc etc
The Kangaroos have your good down to earth supporters, you have read some of them on here, go accross to the club some day and have a look around Arden Street. Unfortunately in the world today there are just not enough of these people around especially in Melbourne, and if you ever want to find any, then you will know where to look, they all barrack for The Kangas. God I hate smulchy posts such as this one. I am starting to sound just like Malibu. Hey and everything is great at our club Malibu.
