The long awaited evener for that 'double goal' we recieved in round 17 2003 vs melbourne when Lloyd was tapped in the mouth.

That was the one of the worst free kicks I have ever seen us get. Yes, technichally it was there, but it was rubbish.

Murphys free kick was almost a perfect copy.

Carlton got one against us on this very day in '98 on Easter Monday. We hung on to win by a point, but at the time they were 5 or 6 goals down and it got them back into it, and turned the game.

After yesterday, I still reckon we're owed one.

Lloyds one in 03 was a joke was softer than the Murphy one.

Oh I agree it all even out - I was just being superstitious. Murphy from memory, might have been the one that kicked the "double goal" back in '98. Or was it Dean Rice? I dunno.

I agree it was dumb but the problem is that half the umpires wouldn't have paid a free kick for it.
