I was watching the Cows get pantsed by the Bombers and yes, I heard it, even my Adelaide supporter wife heard it.

Heard what you ask?

The proverbial pin that was dropped.

It made more noise than a 40,000 Cow crowd.

The most noise they made was ripping up their membership tickets

Ha, that's ironic, Powder supporters calling Crow supporters scums!
TP, dunno how you got to be in Switzerland, but you can stay there. One question though, how have the Swiss been putting up with the stench since you arrived??

Was very quiet for most of the 4 quarters & to be honest i was lost for words watching the game from the confines of my leather recline. :(

What goes around comes around.

Just don't ask me when.

I'll tell you when....Round 3, Saturday, April 14 is when.

The Crows will spank some (unrealistically) over-confident Power butts in the Showdown.

It is, after all, Round 1 isn't it? Or am I missing something?

Let's all get one thing straight here. The entire state of SA is full of bogans. Therefore the whole "Port are scum vs Crows are scum" argument is a little shallow.

For what it's worth, at least the Port supporters are true AFL followers, unlike the chardonnay sipping bandwagon lot that follow the Crows.

Ahhh, the contradictory drivel of an internet forumite.

Can't say I've ever seen a chardonnay sipping bogan.

You and your wife must be deaf then.

The most noise I heard though was from that f***ing new sound system/siren they have. Wayyyyyy to loud, have to yell to talk to the person next to you whenever there is sound coming out of the speakers.

Must be deafening, but not as deafening as the sound of tens of thousands of tea cups clinking, iced-vovo's being munched and knitting kneedles falling to ground simultaneously.

The problem is that you cant hear it when you are out of the main area, we stood out of the direct sun at quarter, half and three quarter time and all three times we missed the start because we didnt hear the siren whilst we were standing near the canteen at the southern end.

My dear wishiwasaportfan, there is a world outside adelaide, try and crawl out of your hole and you will love it. Switzerland is a very rich country, the salary level is almost as high as you can probably expect to get (realistically) and yes i am loving it here. Why wouldnt anyone love Europe anyway??

I am surprised that no-one has yet identified the fact that the word "scum" actually has no s when you use it as a plural.

How is that ironic? Do you know what irony is?
Hah. Damnit, you beat me to it.

I think he means 'hypocritical', or 'rich', or something along those lines.

Don't expect too much from him in terms of knowing the English language, though. He is a Crows supporter after all.
