I dunno it wouldnt have been any quieter than when Port kicked a goal in the final term of the "dream final" most of you were running home pretending you werent there. I couldnt even see a port supporter there in that final quarter.

It seems like there is nothing to be passionate about Port because you seem more interested being here talking about Adelaide.
First of all the dream final was like 2 years ago now.. Get over it.

If you were at the game on Sunday half the stadium had left by the 25 minute mark of your game idiot.

2 things

1. He made a point about it being quiet when they were losing. Sorry, but I dont go to many Port games, but I do know that when Port are losing it very quiet and in 2005 it was dead quiet when they knew they had lost.

2. Big deal on the tv last year I saw plenty of people leaving when North smashed you at home and when Freo won. Whats your point ??

Why do Port fans argue about things that their supporters also do

See how foolish the cow supporters are

They confuse "laughing at" with "talking about".

I'll always have time to laugh at the cows

Dont be too hard on him at least he got 4 letters or our emblem right, we all know that spelling isnt a Port supporter's forte.
Was the word or supposed to be of? Strike 1

Inserting an apostrophe into a word correctly is also spelling! In collaboration with grammar. Strike 2

STO - Backing you up for the sake of it, when he damn well knows you were caught out. Strike 3

Next batter please.

and your supporters have a culture of being loudmouths who always have a thing to say when Port are doing well.

Now go back to looking at your collection of pictures of Nadal on his knees.
Poor comeback dude.I stated a fact that you are basing your opinion on what one supporter said or did.I was here , last year, when we had a crap season.Taking it on the chin.I started a bold prediction thread saying adelaide will not make the GF and all your fans were ready to kick my ass if crows made it...surprise surprise, none of them came back in that thread once you lost to west coast.Talk about loudmouths? the proof is in the pudding:thumbsu:

You call us cows, i call you guys paps or if i really felt the urge "pap smears" but the again a pap smear is very useful so i guess calling you that would be defeating the purpose by spreading around untruths. :)

You are an exception TP. I mean, how the hell would a Poohwer supporter have enough brains to work in Europe. Yes, great idea advertising it in your profile. It might help other Poohwer supporters realise that their brains just might help them in life!:thumbsu:
You will be surprised that i have found another 3 power supporter in zurich. :D .Not many crows fans abroad though, not on the adelaide board anyway. Maybe ....... :thumbsu:

Was at the game and couldn't agree more. THe ground was deadset quiet. You would not have known it was a home Adelaide game but for the lovely Westend signage ;)

The only time the Crows made any noise was after a goal and even then that barely carried to the next bounce. In the 4th qtr when they got within 12 points there was noise at the ground. It lasted about 1 minute till Lucas scored another to get Essendon out by 3.

Was a very poor effort from the crowd. I think they were just waiting for Adelaide to get ahead before they started.

Also, was amusing to see the place empty at the 20odd minute mark of the 4th qtr.

That said, the Adelaide supporters were really good in their nature. Ive been over to AAMI for a Port game before and they're feral and want to rip you up. You literally need to travel in 'packs'.

The Adelaide crowd were great, walking to and from the ground we were given thumbs up and congratulations and even shared a couple witty and remarks each way.

Those Adelaide folk on their bbq in the carparks were really good! Once lot gave us a thumbs up and so on and told us to live up the win as it wasnt coming back in a while, I told them we planned to as if 2007 is anything like 2006 we've only got another 3 for the year ;)

So all in all....... was a quiet but friendly crowd.

rory's obsessed propaganda would have everyone think otherwise. But at the AFC we respect opposition supporters unlike the other mob who will beat, urinate on and harass opposition supporters after a win or a loss

Quotes from this thread

http://bigfooty.com/forum/showthread.php?t=309554

Thanks Gabbie. Yeah, my experiences with their supporters in CBR and MEL have been the same.......no probs. They've seemed more like any other team's supporters from the other Melbourne clubs. The Crows group however have that pack mentality and can be a little precious.

I was umming and ahhing about where to sit and my eventual decision was based on "Why not sit dead centre wing? The best view in the house isn't an exclusive reserved area so f%#k 'em!!!...........PLUS, I couldn't give a toss that they'll outnumber us as any Melbourne based fan knows, we're used to being outnumbered and it NEVER quietens our decibels of support on the day!!"

I've got the bloody "Twin Peaks" theme playing in my head now lol

Thanks again and I reiterate to fellow Roo nutters.............purchase tickets for Bay 130!!!!!!!!!!

T'toes
For Crows games they usually put the North Cheer Squad at the Northern end of AAMI Stadium.(New Grandstand end)

For Power games the North Cheer Squad is usually at the Southern end of AAMI stadium.

As far as footy supporters go the Power fans are meant to be more feral than the Crows version. I beg to differ.

I would rather go to 100 Port V Roos games at AAMI rather than 1 Crows V North at the same venue.

T'toes ....It will be a different experience for you.The Power rarely come close to filling AAMI stadium and the games have a totally different atmosphere to Crows matches....Toes , your tickets are on the wing...Good spot but you will be surrounded by Port fans there....I've just had a look at a map of AMMI stadium and the opposition cheersquad gets bay 140 for Port games (Southern end of ground)

Ticketing arrangements for Aussie Roos members is the same as usual....To secure your reserved seat ring BASS SA on 131246 quote your name and membership number.Tickets can be collected on game day from the Northern Info window between gates 4 and 5.(Membership card must be presented.

Gates open at 10.45am and the game commences at 12.40pm

All the latest Kangaroos merchandise will be available for sale from club marquee outside gate 5.

At the conclusion of the game ,you're also invited to attend the post match function in the Stadium Room where some players will be available for interviews /autographs.A signed team jumper will be raffled , drinks at bar prices and entry by gold coin donation.

Melbourne members/supporters who travel over are very welcome to attend the aftermatch...The Stadium Room is located upstairs in the SANFL Members stand (approx behind the coaches boxes)Non SANFL members are allowed into the SANFL Members reserve once the final siren has sounded.
I feel the same too, would rather go to a Roos/Port game over a Roos/Crows game any day of the year. The stadium is a lot less crowded and find the Port fans much less agro than the Crow fans.

I will definately be attending the after match with my wife, oldest son and mate, really hoping to meet a few on here then and have a few quieties. Will be good to meet in person.:thumbsu:

I really couldn't give a crap what opposition fans would think of AFC fans?

Also when your in a stadium filled with oppostion fans you pay them the respect they deserve, it applies to any team.

Problems arise when the away team supporters start making smart arse comments and then expect to be left alone, if you antaganise someone enough they are going to react, so maybe support your team, and leave it at that.

Nice work mb2326. Certainly got a few Port supporters upset with your expose on what ferals they are to the point of them wasting away their life digging up quotes out of frustration. :D
