... Because it's a perfect opportunity to get rid of a few others as well.

The age has published an article suggesting that Wayne Jackson and possibly Ron Evans should go over the colonic fiasco. I think it would be a shame for this to happen and not cut a little deeper because the real reason, One Graeme Samuel and Co would just recruit another couple of 'front men' and carry on killing the game with a thousand cuts. The problems with colonic stem from it's inception and that happened long before Wayne was around (notice one R. Oakley is a director of colonial stadium)
And How come I. Collins is seen as a saviour as CEO of colonial - what is his major work at the AFL ? The draw - which everyone wants to overhaul.

I think they need a new charter and some new blood.

I'd hate to lose him as Hawthorn President but someone like Ian Dicker would have the Integrity and the inclusiveness to steer the AFL commission where it is at least respected by its Customers (us)

Don't care who gets the job as long as it is someone who can :

- tell the truth instead of constantly engaging in illegal activity

- Seek the views and opinions of the fans before making decisions that affect those fans.

- Run the game for the good of the game and not profits for a few well-connected business people.

- Stop trying to do a 'snow job' on customers all the time. I

If something is not right then for chrissake tell us about it instead of constantly telling us whoppers all the time like we are idiots who need to be patronised.

Oh and another thing - whoever ends up running the AFL should be involve with running the AFL - nothing else, no conflicts of interests, no insider deals, none of that kind of thing.

Are the problems with Colonic that bad.

Sure I know. Bad grass, can't get in, costs the Bulldogs $100,000 a game to play there, but arn't these teething problems. Provided the tenant clubs don't go under this year.

The stadium cost $460 million & won't be pulled down. These problems will be fixed.

I reckon that in the long term you will all be very happy with it.

Yeah I think you're right Drakey except maybe the cost for the tenant clubs to put on a game there, I don't see how that's going to be rectified in the short term and thats a disgrace.

I think the worst thing they did was open it when it clearly wasn't ready, in any way shape or form. You guys are right the blame has to be with that prick Samual, apparently when interviewed on ABC radio Sat. he refused to answer any questions about his little baby, what a worm.

Can't believe how the media change their tune - "Collo will fix it all up". They couldn't wait to piss him off from the AFL last year, with good reason. Since when did he become "Mr Fix it" more like "Mr F... it".

How the hell is the turf going to be ready by this afternoon? Hird, Lloyd and Fletcher will probably all do knees in the test today.

BOMBER BLITZ IN 2000!

Of course colonic won't go. But the perpretrators can. As a result of colonic more VIC teams will lose money than make money this year. the usual is one or two clubs each year.

Docklands won't go but

- neither will the Burnley Tunnel

- maybe the Northern ( insert city name ) Kangaroos, the Western ( insert city name ) Bulldogs and the Southern ( insert city name ) Saints will have to go.

The precedent's been set and once there's a sniff, you watch the other 'established' clubs start to pick off the players.

You have been warned !

Please answer me this

If (and I mean IF) Bulldogs and Roos relocate permanently then who will play at Colonic.

Nobody else wants to. Even Essendon will move slowly back to the G as their crowds increase..
