Melbourne teams have it easy - only have to walk around the corner most weeks to play a game

They should request a couple of blocks of consecutive games in Melbourne each year, and stay the week in between.
Could hold open training and a mid week function for the Victorian based fans.

Cuts out a reasonable chunk of travel. Have to put up with the s**t weather for a week though.

Time away from home is not ideal either, but it is an option

Irrelevant thread but anyway, heard Mick Malthouse say last night how travel might catch up to the Dogs after travelling to Perth twice and now to Sydney within the last 6 weeks. Would've thought he'd know as well as anyone that Perth sides actually have to do that throughout the whole season .
