Please don't.There is still time for you, child.
I forgive you.Logic and reason. They're strong foundations. So much makes sense thru logic and reason. However, they can also mislead even in strength of resolution. I mean, Jesus, and the power of the Holy Spirit.....is real, and evident when you experience it.
Seriously, I was all my life a non-believer, and it made sense, Life was meaningful as such, pragmatic. But Jesus thru the Holy Spirit genuinely touched me quite recently. Now I am a staunch believer. It's hard to describe to the non-believer, but it's like falling in love. You just KNOW when you feel true love. It's corporeal, not just idealistic. Similarly, when you experience Jesus thru the Holy Spirit, you just KNOW. And it's corporeal.
Sincerely, I ask all bigfooty posters to NOT close your minds on the possibility of Jesus. Keep an open mind, genuinely ask for his presence, a sign, something, and allow the Holy Spirit to show you.
Ridicule me and ridicule the notion publicly here. But do me a favor please, within your own self, privately in you, keep the possibility open and ask for help in seeing the light.
There is still time for you, child.People disgusted by the notion, appalled to read. But we can have such a thread given the amount of threads about everyday, humdrum, silly things. All good. Let there be a voice for all things.

I smell a troll.![]()
Believe what you want. But things like your reply to MEB_ take away from the direction you want this thread to take.Seriously, I was brought to tears recently. When I saw it happening. Im actually tearing up now, humbled by the reality of it. The ego-fueled logic-driven sure-in-self individual stripped raw truly experiencing the reality of this, realizing how powerful vs how insignificant, the presence, it makes me tear up like if you see something amazing or grand in nature itself.
Do not dare call this a troll either. I am %100 sincere here. It's interesting that people consider someone expressing a faith or belief in such as a mere troll. Shows how far against the notion of "god" people have become generally speaking that they think someone cannot be serious. But I am. Grant me that.
This from a fremantle supporter whose best hope of ever winning a flag is to pray.Im surprised a Carlton supporter has faith in anything anymore
!

One last quick point before I crash. So you know where im coming from. The grave mistake religious people make is to shove it down peoples throats and belittle. And when you grill them about inconsistencies and fallacies in the bible etc, they dont really know, they waffle, making up stuff or regurgitating things theyve heard priests or other religious people say in response. Their faith is real but their approach is flawed, even a lot of their faith is misguided in that parroting they do.
I am still not a.church goer. I still internally shake my head at these parroters, KNOWING theyre wrong about that particular point theyre making.
So trust me, you know this is GG who always speaks truly, is honest with you. That I truly have felt it and know it's real, that it's real for you to find too, if it could happen to such a bastard like me, someone so anti-religion and hateful of Life. I am not religious as such still. I just now realize that it's real, and that it often evades the grasp and understanding of the religious and church-goers.
