Not one mentioned the Blues for the spoon, & even caro wilson chose her tiges as spoon favorite.

we can only pray these learned experts are on the money & those bitchmond fans are silent from round 1 on.

Biggest preseason prediction -Brett Deludedio saying Tambling will be better the buddy. I think he's been smoking the stuff that comes out the other end of those Kyabram dairy cows.

Agreed, the description 'expert' is pretty much meaningless when it comes to AFL predictions.

Yep. I'd actually be pretty happy with all these "experts" having you last.......Roos last year......Swans a couple of years back.

They've got some problems at Demonland, that's for sure. As you said. their list is looking pretty sick at the moment, and when Neitz retires. it will look even worse.

I"m not as pessimistic about Melbourne's list, but just think they are a another couple of bottom 4-6 finishes and good drafts off rebuilding....they have a good nucleus of youngsters in Jones, McLean, Petterd, Bartram and Buckley and some experience with Bruce, Green, Davey and McDonald

Maric will be a handy goal sneak up forward.

Also have some good mobile talls in Rivers, Dunn, Newton, Bate, Frawley and now Morton

Grimes will be a good replacement for James McDonald in time.

Probably still lacking a gorilla to replcae Nietz (Henderson would have been handy), and another class midfielder, (some bloke named Judd would have made their side look a whole lot better very quickly). the ruck situation will also need to be addressed in the next couple of drafts.....not sure Meesen and Martin are the long-term solution.....

You're obviously not too good at reading are you Tigger? If you actually READ the thread you'll discover that most posts are suggesting that just because the 'experts' are suggesting Richmond are going to be sh!t doesn't mean much at all.

Actually I would suggest we are under the pump a lot more. With the inclusion of Judd & Hadley, return from injury of Stevens & expected continued development of Murphy & Gibbs, combined with the tanking furore of the last few days, the pressure is really on us to show something first up. Of course Ratts would be desperate to lose the Mr 0% tag as soon as possible.

Realistically the Tigers aren't under the pump much at all. With the majority of the 'experts' tipping Richmond for the wooden spoon, it would not create much of a murmur if they lose to Carlton first up. They will have very little pressure on them going into this game & should things turn pear-shaped during the game, it will be a case of "we told you so", Simmonds, Coughlan etc were underdone, the 'Judd factor' etc.

Despite it only being Round 1, I think the powers that be at Carlton will be viewing this game as a must win. I expect our boys to come out fired up from the start of the game.
