Super pumped, son son's interview was insightful. Attitudes sounds right, now we need him to kick some goals..

He's done some very hard yards to get himself back into the side - could have easily given it away with the uphill battle to prove to himself and Freo. Hope Sonny has a blinder, but as others have said hopefully gets a few games on the run to work out the nerves etc. But being Sonny it would not surprise if he really turned on some magic and destroyed the Dees - and with Pav and Mayne in great form :D

He is a gun. Can't wait to see him mercurial small forward new wizard destruction machine killer power win it

From our Club's perspective I hope he blows everyone out of the water.

Realistically Lyon has to have a look at not only him, but as many players as he can in 2012, and, satisfy the expectation of a top 8 spot . Tough call.

Listening to Lyon about drinking from the bottom of the well, and watching Son Son's interview as well as reading what MJ had to say we may well see this Saturday something special.

Go Freo.

how good has the club handled this situation too? don't know if it's ross or a combination of things but the way walters has been handled and guided has been great. can't wait to see how he dishes it up.

yep - have a massive amount of confidence in the direction and everything Freo now - really building the club for the long term as well as hopefully some shorter term ultimate success

yeah, it's an investment of time in the players on the fringe as well as in the 22. it's hard to believe it isn't something to do with ross as i wonder how sibosado or houghton would have responded to his instruction. Anyway, good signs from off the field.

Yeah, now that's an interesting thought. Imagine if a bit of Ross induced work-ethic was combined with his potential talent. Mind you, takes two to tango and credit has to go to Walters too - clearly SonSon has made some tough decisions, don't know if Sibo had it in him.

it does take two to tango. just watched that interview with walters and **** me if he's not got something to prove. was very impressed. he clearly knows how much in his life is weighing on him getting real about footy. i find it as ridiculous as the next person that you can earn a salary from playing the game, but he's in rarefied company and can choose to make the most of it. it's hard to know with sibo, maybe nobody challenged him in a way that he took to.

Life is not easy for anyone. The biggest strength comes from leaders. It pains me to mention Ben Cousins on this forumn, but it is the most relevant situation in todays times; he is the honest benchmark.

My only point here is that runours have floated about the relationship between Ross and Michael. He has me the standards and might make it. Michael could have quit - he did not.

I hope to shout your name for years to come Mr Walters, for the right reasons. Work hard, play harder, then reflect.

Bloody great game from Sonny today. Much better than I expected. Certainly earnt his spot.

Excellent comeback game Sonny - did some great team efforts too. Soccer goal by Clancee - provided by Sonny in marking contest - he had Melb player coming over top from behind and ball was long - Sonny had no chance to mark but managed to hold ground, pushing back a bit and ensured ball came to ground for Clancee to run on to.

Sibosado

Ffs no wafl team wants him

Do you blokes think Lyon is Jesus Christ?

No, but Lyon proved what he can do at StKilda and we are already seeing significant results in many players at Freo. I think he is far better than any other coach at getting players to deliver to their potential and sorting out psychologically who can turn things around. It takes a huge effort from the player (to change ways, see their opportunity and actually do what is necessary to grab it) of course - huge kudos for MJ, Clancee, Walters and others. We will see come trade time some of those that don't take their opportunity.

What about Suban broughton duffield silvagni

Even mundy and sandilands

Nowhere near their best footy

Not all sunshine and lollipops

mundy, sandi, silva affected by injury. suban looks like he's about reached his ceiling. broughton and duffield are works in progress. give ross a bit of time, he can't turn everyone around all at once :)
