Rebuild the coaching staff Rebuild the f..king game plan and never play players that won't take us to where we want to go and yes that includes Houli Grigg Chaplin Morris .

Rambo go all out and take them out then we might be rid off them.

I rekon we are more like a City Council. With the councilers living large and enjoying all the perks (junkets to Brazil etc) without really having to perform or make tough decisions, knowing there will always be a guarenteed income stream (in this case memberships not property rates).

I think part of my boredom is the whole AFL comp.I watched the Swans Freo match and the Port Hawthorn match. Gee I thought this is flat like the same play again just another re-run.

I wake up this morning.

Happy to talk about the Tigers again:D

It annoys me some other poster knobs bagging the Melbourne Richmond Friday night fixture beforehand when to me the Fremantle Sydney game to me in particular was a boring flop. High pressure, release the gas then a but of resilience, yeah right!!!

I think the competition is starting to bore me. Same clubs doing the same thing!! I suppose thats what happens with 18 teams, 22 on the team sheets, and 2 new clubs coming in taking out temporally a lot of upside from the others. Starting to get frustrating though!

I think I am finding it tough watching some games lately, particularly among the better teams like Swans and Freo, where results and play are largely determined by coaches strategies and run instead of footballers ability to play football! It is like I am watching games with mood swings and a personality of their own thanks to these coaches!!

Rebuild? Yes of the coaching staff. None should remain.

Our list needs a top up. This draft has me concerned. We need to be aggressive in getting ready made talent in areas that we are struggling in.

Dylan Shiel as a beast on baller.

Chris Yarran as a small forward.

For starters. Will help us in two positions and types we need.

A midfield of Cotchin, Martin, Vlastuin and Shiel is dynamic, hard and skilled.

We need a small defender who can maintain oppositions small forwards.

Speaking of small forwards. Having the potential of Yarran in our forward line under the feet of Riewoldt and Griffiths would be immense.

Our backline needs class and skill into it. Deledio and Lennon added there. Need a small defender to replace Morris who should be traded Or delisted. A liability.

Tweak the list. No rebuild required. Only in the coaching department.

Agree. I would like to see hunt play the Morris role, he could make the opposition small forward defend him at times.
If we got Yarran at the feet of our forwards it would be a massive improvement.
I think its time for lids to go back to HB, we need Vlas in the middle.

Out: Morris, Lloyd
In: Shiel, Yarran

FB: Hunt Astbury Chaplin

HB: Houli Rance Deledio

C: Ellis Cotchin McIntosh

HF: Martin Griffiths Edwards

FF: Vickery Riewoldt Yarran

FOL: Maric Vlastuin D.Shiel

INT: Miles Conca Lennon

Sub: Gordon

I think Conca is the one at back pocket at times. I know many do not see it. But I think this is the answer longer term as part of rotations.

Hunt can do it to but I think Hunt is more of a runner in broken play so arguably better suited further up the ground

Another problem for me is our development staff and assistants. We have had a few coaches leave over the last couple of years and we hardly replaced them with proven coaches i.e Mcqualter and Bailey. Leppa has left a big hole in the coaches box.

Exactly.

Peggy and Benny take massive blame here.

Downright cheap

So you're saying that the CEO's priorities are not the footy department or onfield performance? So you saw my stupid comments and followed it up with this brilliant insight?
The ceo's job is to get the finances in a place that's allows the club to sustain success by way of affording enough money into areas like the football department .it isn't to run the football department .
We have been down the path of buying big name players and trying to win flags in hope it will increase our finances and it has proven that it doesn't work .

Wow doggies really have passed us, great game plan too, they're hard and quick. No Wallis minson and Libba and we make excuses for Chaplin and Deledio. We really need to have a hard look at ourselves! They rebuilt properly, and traded well, we thought they would struggle getting rid of griffin, Cooney et al but they've come on in leaps and bounds. Time to make some tough decisions

It's a running and endurance game now.
But if you don't win the contested ball, it doesn't matter how hard you run.
Both games you mentioned were quality and if we can't play that style of game we will sit at the foot of the ladder.

Its a lot more about energy, rotations and endurance now I agree which is a little boring tbh

Not sure how to feel about yesterday. Starting have doubts about our coaching panel and leaders at the club. It's so easy to play the blame game but the fact is our club has been shite for so long is that we cursed. Every team in the comp always fancies themselves against us. No one fears us or respects us. When will this curse break ??? Really poor RFC hopefully the loss will trigger something for the boys. The dogs look good Melbourne are shit

Full of enthusiasm early in the season under a new coach. Wouldn't be surprised if they fell in a heap going into the last half of the season. They are on the improve though. They've done the right thing in putting money into their 2's which won the premiership last year and it is just starting to show in their ones.
