You've already acknowledged you're friends and you will defend him, the blindness is yours
No, she has no credibility on the subject anymore.

Her objectivity blinds her. I gave her a chance to tell the cynics his positive moves but she flatly refused. Meaning she couldn't.

Game over.

This has been asked by the "agitators" constantly over the years, we can easily list all of his failings.

But, but, but he is working hard:rolleyes: seriously how hard is it to sell corporate space at the AO. You would have to tell them to take a number.

Bad decisions/poorly handled events recently that indicate that Trigg is STILL so far out of his depth and hasn't learnt a thing.

Jumpergate = no written permission to use for marketing purposes, they were on sale FFS. How could you do this unless you have it in writing, very poor way to run a business. He must have slept through that lecture.

Licence buyback = how can one licence be worth more than another, we are not buying the club, PAFC are not buying back the power - it is the licence to compete in the AFL. The licences have exactly the same worth.

Can't wait to hear how our breakeven crowd at AO will be double Ports.

Serious question, is there anybody besides Jenny who defends Trigg? I don't know anybody personally who will defend him in conversation.

I suspect he will struggle to ever win most people over as any setback the club faces is now blamed on him regardless of his level of involvement.

And I suspect Jenny only supports him out of loyalty fir friendship, not by his excellent work as CEO.

Now here's a radical idea for a CEO who presides over a fiasco..........

Ed Killesteyn resigns as Australian Electoral Commissioner
By political reporter Latika Bourke

Australian Electoral Commissioner Ed Killesteyn has resigned following a major bungle at the last election which will see a fresh Senate poll held in Western Australia.
Mr Killesteyn had been the Electoral Commissioner since 2009 and had been reappointed to the role for another five years beginning last month.
But his long career in the public service was tainted by the AEC's loss of more than 1,300 Senate ballot papers in Western Australia following the September poll.
The mistake will see West Australians head back to the polls to elect six senators at a fresh vote before July, possibly as early as April.
AEC WA state manager Peter Kramer has also quit.

Is the better option just accepting an incompetent friend of yours is running the club?
He's not incompetent. He made a mistake, he's been fined, suspended and completed said suspension. He knows he's lucky to still have a job, and he's working to repay the faith shown in him by the board.

Oh dear. The Trigg-has-ruined-us brigade.

Do you blame him for Crows having dangerfield? Do you blame him for Crows having Betts?…if you want to say yes because we lost draft picks and had to go the free agent road, then fine. Do you blame him for instigating the police lectures to the players about the dangers of associating with scum bikies and other low-lifes to prevent the kind of shitstorm Jake King will eventually bring to Richmond? …long before it became a publicised issue. Do you blame him for the Crows being able to afford to pay their share of their $20Mill training complex? Did you blame him for Westpac's sponsorship? …and now Bendigo Bank?

In answer to the pre-empted posts that will ensue, and that we've all heard a thousand times over - Nup, Nup, I Don't care.

because football is as important as running a country's election.

I've given you other examples of his incompetence, it just isn't one mistake. Only two weeks ago we had another example with the jumper fiasco. He's the one who got the verbal approval without giving the SANFL all the details. His response? Calling criticism pathetic.

Last year with the reserves debate, one week it's "we will only go in with unanimous support", a week later we water that down.

And there are other examples, he is an embarrassment to our club and makes us look like amateurs. Happy with that? Fine, good for you.

Cool, I wanted to know if Jenny was Trigg's only supporter and the answer is clearly no :). I don't know how many Crows members support him but it is good to know that the answer is more than 1.

You do know - in life, in the business world, in society, it takes a life time to build a good reputation and it only takes a second to lose it.

He damaged his reputation with the Tippett saga and that's all it takes in a multimillion dollar industry.

^^^^^
Yeah, but do you blame him for those few things as well?
I blame him for the Tippett saga and consequently the 2 years of draft picks lost.

Player cone and players go - getting nothing for a player like Tippett will hurt for a good 6 or 7 years.

Trigg has ruined us? No, it would difficult for any one individual to ruin an established AFL club. But he's done about the worst damage a CEO can do - he's diminished our chances of winning a flag over the next decade. In this equalised competition losing draft picks is a massive handicap.

Not sure what recruiting Betts and Dangerfield have to do with whether or not Trigg should resign (unless you are responding to an imaginary argument that Trigg has ruined everything at the Club.)
