Does that mean that they are at least THINKING of moving him on when the review is over? Or sometime in the foreseeable future? That it's at least on the radar?

I'm not naive enough to believe it before I see it - but the wording is interesting...
I hope when Trigg goes Chapman has enough common sense to realise he is equally despised and needs to go too.

That was a way to keep the wolves at bay for a bit longer, just like the other ones they've trotted out..

Then it will move onto:

"Steven still has some important work to do behind the scenes such as the review into whether the 19th man flag we walk around the ground should be facing the members so it reads 19 or the current method which makes it appear as a number 61"

Then it will be the next important review that only Lord Steve-o himself can do..

It's just rubbish that makes no sense at all. He's so talented that we need him to fix up his ao mess and he's the only man capable. It implies that Once that's done, we won't need someone as talented, so he'll be able to move on. It's just another excuse to explain why he's still here. there will be more, there will always be something.

Triggy has the board over a barrel and there is nothing they can do without impacting their own reputations.

That was painful..

He seriously can't believe there's any negativity or unhappiness around about the club..
And puts any unhappiness down to simply losing a few games..

5-5 is apparently a decent result, the supporters survey that was reported about the other day can't be right I think he said..
The survey showed members satisfaction at an all time low and really crashed after Tippett-gate..

There are positives EVERYWHERE apparently..

**** we are deluded and ******..

It's all positive by the sounds of it.

The problem is just that people aren't acknowledging all the positives and instead are looking for negatives.
Look, Trigg's time is up. No question about it. However, if we wre 7 wins and 4 losses - would his removal be as hard to argue that he needed to go?

He needs to post a profit this financial year to have any chance to argue he should stay.

Which he will do hands down. Record memberships and profits are already being leaked out of the club.

Sticking your head in the sand when things are not travelling well is a great approach by CEO. World's best practice - all problems will disappear if we all sit in a circle holding hands & channel positive energy.

On replacing Bailey..

We don't quite know yet what the role will involve; strategy/innovation or player development.

But we have some irons in the fire.

The wheels are in motion.

"Hi.. would you like to join our football department in an as yet undefined role?"

I'm thinking the other way.

I'm thinking the leaking of the lack of profit from the AO is to ease the possibility of another loss. After the much publicised release of a $4 million turn around from AAMI to making another this year wouldn't be a good look.

Until then, reality will deal with you..

Which it currently is. And not in a good way.
according to triggy it IS in a good way. 5-5 is ok.. he said he expected us to "launch" into the season after a slow start.

unfortunately the only launching i see in the forseeable future are our long kicks to an opposition +1.

I didn't hear it, but going by what people are saying it highlights exactly the cultural issues at the club. This club shouldn't be "happy" or content, we should be striving to be the best club in football both on and off the field.

We are currently sitting 5-5 and will probably finish 10th with 11 wins but Trigg thinks it's a good year. Gives you an insight as to where their priorities lie doesn't it.

This is what he doesn't seem to grasp.

We're not hating on Trigg because we're losing games.

We're hating on Trigg because his actions make it more likely that we will lose games.

He seems to think there is no connection between his performance and what we see on-field.
